The silver looked great! It says 5x7 but they mean that the envelope measures 5x7 exactly (not that it will fit a 5x7 card) so the pocket is slightly smaller. If you have 5x7 invites, you will have to trim them down. There is no seal on the envelope, which I expected, so we printed vellum belly bands and wrapped that around the envelope, secured it with a glue sticky dot, and they worked well! We put those in a larger outer envelope and sent them out. You cannot use these as stand-alone envelopes for invites - will need an outer envelope to put them in.Exactly what I was looking for, well constructed.Very beautiful an easy to use for my wedding invitations. Yet they didn't send me all of the 50I ordered. I only ended up with 45 so had to improvise on a few invitations.These are really good quality and look exactly like the picture.I ordered a small amount to test possibly using them for my wedding invitations.They are probably best used as an inner envelope. If you put something into the pocket, there is nothing to keep it from falling out, and nothing to stick them in, or keep them inside of the envelope. The only way you would be able to actually mail something would be if you tied or stuck your contents in in some other way... or placed this envelope inside of a larger one.Sent the wrong color and hasn’t responded to trying to get customer service for exchange.Quality looks nice which is why I rated 3 starsThese are exactly what I was looking for to make my wedding invitations they are perfect. Came in earlier then expectedA little disappointed that they don't actually close on the ends. I had to buy additional envelopes to mail these in because the ends were open which meant the inserts could slide out. The quality and texture are great however which is why I purchased them again. Description should include that these are not sufficient for mailing and that additional envelopes will be needed.My item arrive a week early and it was exactly as advertised!!! I was very pleased with my order. I will order this item again!
