I love that this books allows you the freedom to follow your child weekly for the first 52 weeks of their life. I found with my first son that traditional baby books with prompts were difficult to keep up with because they had all these milestones that weren’t applicable to each month and then I didn’t catch it etc. this book is a blank slate and so each day of the week I’m free to add something in if I want to notate it (like the first time your brother slapped you) for example which is not a normal milestone you might want to write down. And then each month there’s a cute photo card to take a picture with for their age and also a summation of likes, dislikes, growths, height weight things like that. I’m able to scan back through my month and add the most important things. Really great book overall I’m very happy with it. It stands in my living room open to each week so I can quickly joint down what happened that day. I feel like I’m not missing my sons life this time. Small things that are funny to look back on but not necessarily big moments like “took first step”
